Lightweight Split Bamboo & Paper Fan, Large Triangle

A simple yet versatile fan made in the Kagawa Prefecture of Japan. The framework is beautifully crafted and skilfully made from a single piece of Hassun bamboo, split along the shaft into many slender ribs and covered in white paper. Perfect for cooling you down on a hot summers day. Also try using it to get your fire going or for cooling your food and drink down (it is used in Japan for cooling down freshly cooked rice). Measures 42cm long, 29 wide.
