Mutenka Sekken Cold-Processed Japanese Summer Soap

A handcrafted, specially formulated 'Summer' soap, made using a cold process method by Mutenka Sekken Honpo, who have been producing all-natural soaps in the Miki District, Hyōgo Prefecture since 1955. This soap has a gentle citrus scent and is recommended for the summer season when skin is exposed to increased sun damage. It contains soothing reparative ingredients such as aloe extract, orange oil, ascorbic acid, as well as moon peach leaf water and moonseed oil which are both high in polyphenols and tannins. This formula also contains  sea mud from Kucha, Okinawa which is effective in absorbing excess oil and sebum from oily skin and clogged pores. 

Mutenka Sekken's cold processed soaps are made from raw natural oils at room temperature, with no warming or rinsing. The result is a moisturising soap rich in nutrients extracted from the various oils used. Each soap is infused with extracts of local plants, cereals or essential oils from the Kobe region. These handcrafted soaps are free of artificial fragrances, colourings and preservatives and can be used for the whole body as well as the face.

Weighs 90g, measures approx. W 5.5 x L 8 x H 2.5cm. 

Ingredients: water, palm oil, olive oil, sodium hydroxide, komenuka oil, clay minerals (sea mud), getu leaf water, ascorbic acid (natural vitamin c), aloe extract, moonseed oil, orange oil, grapefruit peel oil, and lemon oil.
