Lodge dutch oven for hobs, ovens or fires

A five US quart, pre-seasoned cast-iron dutch oven, with a heavy tight fitting lid. With its origins on the campfires of the North American frontier these substantial cooking pots evenly distribute heat allowing their contents to cook from all sides. Used for everything from bread, to pot roasts, these are cast so that condensation drips from the lid preventing drying. Being seasoned but otherwise untreated cast-iron, these can rust if left wet. Made at the Lodge foundry, South Pittsburg, Tennessee. About 4.75 litres capacity, just over 10" diameter.
