Catalonian Wood Worker’s Adze

A sharp edged hand-forged adze from Pallares Solsona in Spain, who have been making kitchen knives and Agricultural tools in Catalonia since its founding in 1917 by brothers Lluís and Carles Pallarès Canal. An ancient and versatile cutting tool, adzes have been used since the Stone Age for smoothing or carving wood in hand woodworking, and as a hoe for agriculture and horticulture. With a 700 Gram Head and 24cm varnished beech handle. Wipe clean and treat with protective grease after use.
