Midori Notebook Cover, Goat Leather, A6

A beautiful, undyed goat leather cover designed to fit MD Paper's book block diaries and notebooks (A6 size). Made in Japan using goat leather sourced from the highlands in the Central Asian mountains. Smooth and flexible, light and extremely robust, a single layer of protective leather fits snugly around the notebook. Designed to last for years, with multiple notebook replacements, this goat leather cover comes from the 'wabi-sabi' school of thought: over time and with use, the leather will pick up marks and darken to a mellow tone (going from warm beige to a deep amber), developing its own patina as it ages. Stitched for extra strength along top and bottom edges, the book block covers are inserted into internal pockets which hold the block firmly in place. A pen holder is attached to the inside of the cover, right at the edge so that it doesn’t create a bump when you write.
