A very effective nonlethal mousetrap made from hand formed copper wire fixed to white-wood base. Works in a manner similar to a lobster pot, the trap is baited - peanut butter is effective if messy, and popcorn works very well - enticing the mouse to climb through the tapering hole at the top. Once trapped the mouse lacks the wit to escape. Best checked regularly, and although it’s not unknown for people to keep mice caught as pets, they are best removed to a safe distance and released. Approximately 12cm by 13cm by 7cm high.

Care Advice

Store in a dry environment. Copper will naturally tarnish over time, and this is nothing to worry about. Regular use of a general purpose metal polish will keep a mirror shine, or you can leave it to patina as it ages. When not in use, store in a dry environment. Treat with a beeswax furniture polish or mineral oil conditioner to keep the wood from drying out and prevent warping or splitting.
