Shropshire Spun Iron Garden Hob

Shropshire Spun Iron Garden Hob
£195.00
Ex Tax: £162.50
A compact spun-iron garden hob, with British oak feet, suitable for use on decking or patio. This compact garden hob will stay hot for hours, and won't take up too much space when not in use. Its good looks belie a serious functionality — food can be grilled directly on the hot plate, or a solid frying pan, kettle or dutch oven can be used over the heat, enabling a multi-functional outdoor cooking experience. To light, simply fill with lump charcoal, pour on 150ml (5 fluid oz) of barbecue lighter fluid, replace black iron grid, stand back and light with a match. Wait for 20 to 30 minutes until the charcoal has become grey/white and then start to cook or barbecue. Great for outdoor breakfasts, family parties, or a quiet evening in the garden watching the sunset. All of the black iron parts are pre-seasoned with flax oil for a natural, easy clean finish. Approximately 31cm diameter.

Care Advice

Hand wash with a stiff vegetable fibre brush, using either no soap or a very gentle soap such as Marseille White Soap. Avoid soaking. Dry immediately after washing, and either return to the hob to ensure the pan is fully dry, or dry well. There is no need to season this item, however we recommend using a little more oil than you ordinarily would for the first few uses. Store in a dry environment to prevent the formation of rust. Should rust occur, use an abrasive or rust-remover to remove, and re-season. Please refer to product packaging for specific care and use instructions.
  • Weight g 5.9kg
  • Item Dimensions ⌀30.5 x H14, Hob top, ⌀28.5 x W0.8
  • Materials 99.1% pure spun iron pre-seasoned with flax oil and wood
