A 100% linen bath mat, woven in Sweden by Växbo Lin. Linen is ideal for this purpose, being both quick drying and absorbent. Use to stand on after bathing or showering, and to dry the floor if necessary. Hang up between uses to dry. Växbo Lin represents a recent renewal of Sweden’s once strong textile industry in a locale historically known for its linen cultivation and processing. With guidance from the local mothers and grandmothers who worked in the original scutching factories of the 1950’s, Växbo Lin opened its doors in 1990 to allow linen production to flourish in Trolldalen once more. Measures 50x70cm. Machine wash at 60° on a short program, avoiding an eco-program as it's too water-efficient, and do not tumble dry. When the mat is new, you can place the new linen in lukewarm water for approximately 20-30 minutes before washing. This helps prevent creases and adds more water to the washing machine.
