Please note that due to the handmade nature of this item, all are unique, and may have minor differences in finish and form. Brass can and will tarnish with age, building up a patina indicative of its travels — it can always be restored to a bright shine with a little suitable metal polish. When installing into hard woods, pre-drill pilot holes for the included brass screws and use a drill-driver that will allow you to limit the torque applied to the screw.
