Loofah compostable scouring pads

Compostable scouring pads made of lightly pressed loofah. Surprisingly loofah is a type of vine related to cucumbers and courgettes, the loofah sponge (from which these scrubbers are produced) is actually made up of the mesh of xylem that once supplied water to the gourd like fruit and are left once it ripens and the soft flesh rots away. To prolong their life these are best rinsed thoroughly after use, hung to dry (hence the hanging loop), occasionally sterilised in boiling water.
