Unusually heavy gauge steel bread tins pre-seasoned with Sussex flax oil giving a slightly uneven graphite black finish. Pressed and finished in Shropshire to traditional English patterns and a choice of either one or two pound sizes by Netherton Foundry, a company with a noted commitment to sustainable sourcing and local manufacturing. Flax seasoning results in a hardwearing, repairable, and naturally very low stick finish which should improve rather than degrade with age and use. 1lb (image shows 2lb tin).
