German beech wood folding book stand

A folding beech wood book stand ideal for use with cookbooks, music books, or for place holding academic texts for reference whilst writing - in fact anytime hands free reading might be desired. From the workshops of the Redecker company, who since their founding by Friedrich Redecker in the 1930s have specialised in the production of unusual and high quality brushes and small homewares, made using traditional techniques and largely natural materials. Measures approximately 34.5cm wide by 24cm deep by 26.5cm high in use; 34.5cm wide, 27.5cm deep, and 6.5cm high folded flat.
