Portuguese terracotta small soup pot, honey

A traditional 'honey' glazed terracotta soup or casserole pot, hand shaped, glazed, and finished by the artisans of Maria Terracota in Porto de Mós, central Portugal, and a family company that traces its ceramic producing roots back to 1900 when the eponymous Maria, ancestor and ceramicist, first started producing the terracotta earthenware upon which the modern shapes and production methods remain based. This small (individual) pot measures approximately 16.5cm in diameter by 11cm. We don't recommend using this item on the hob, as direct heat can cause cracking.
