Hand-turned pasta dish, 9 inches

A hand-turned deep rimmed dish, measuring approximately 9 inches across, hand-turned in Oxfordshire from indigenous hardwoods (mostly ash and sycamore) in the workshop of Alistair Phillips, set in the South Oxfordshire Chiltern hills. Turned on a lathe, each plate is sanded twice and oiled with a food grade vegetable oil for a utilitarian finish. Intended for daily use, they will change colour and shape with washing and time, but dried properly and occasionally re-oiled they should last for very many years. Perfect for pastor salads. Hand-wash only.
