A deep mottled indigo glazed almost spherical low bottle vase. Hand shaped, glazed, and finished by the artisans of Maria Terracota in Porto de Mós, central Portugal, and a family company that traces its ceramic producing roots back to 1900 when the eponymous Maria, ancestor and ceramicist, first started producing the terracotta earthenware upon which the modern shapes and production methods remain based. Approximately 15cm diameter by 16cm high.
