Japanese Porcelain Cup and Saucer, White

A porcelain cup and saucer, in a soft natural white, designed by Ogino Katsuhiko and made in Seto City by Ceramic Japan who have been making fine ceramics since 1973. Seen from above, the mouth of the cup is the embodiment in design of the act of serving a drink to a friend, with a gently rounded triangular shape. This White cup finished with a semi-matte glaze that changes color during firing, resulting in a natural white glaze with brown flecks at the edges. Measures 11 × 8 × 7 cm, capacity 165ml. The saucer measures 12.4 × 10.7 × 2 cm and has an oval rim making it easy to hold — perfect for sweetmeats too!
