A small porcelain spoon rest, with a lively dark brown glaze, designed by Ogino Katsuhiko and made in Seto City by Ceramic Japan who have been making fine ceramics since 1973. For use at the table and by the hob, this dish can be used for resting a spoon or other cutlery (including chopsticks) at teh table, for resting a cooking spoon, or even for serving dipping sauces or condiments. Finished in a glaze that changes color during firing, with the result ranging from yellow to reddish brown, resulting in a unique appearance with each piece. Measures 8.5 × 9.8 × 2 cm.
