A beautifully glazed, and highly individual batter bowl of stoneware, suitable for use in food preparation or serving, thrown for us locally by Joseph Bull, and fired over the course of 3 days in a traditional and wood heated Anagama kiln. Each are wholly unique, somewhat evading description, being a smorgasbord of colours and textures from matte to glossy, and from a subtly peach pink to a near jet black olive green. Wheel-thrown by Joseph Bull, a studio potter based in Oxfordshire, who trained with Knighton Mill Pottery and the Leach Pottery in St Ives, before establishing his own studio in Wootton, Oxfordshire. With an approximate height of 8cm, and a diameter of 18cm, each is unique, with glaze and firing variations, and may not match the photos provided exactly.
