Jack Welbourne Creamer, Herringbone

A small hand-thrown creamer decorated in a beautiful abstract leaf pattern, perfect for serving milk at the table, or even holding a little floral sprig. Made in Cardiff by studio potter Jack Welbourne and glazed in hand-mixed and applied glazes. After training in Cardiff and Gothenburg, Sweden, Welbourne set up his studio where he produces gas-fired wheel-thrown stoneware in red stoneware clay mined in Cornwall, using hand-mixed glazes made using potash, chalk, iron oxide and flint).
