Pallarès Palmadera Handle Steak Knife

Classic serrated steak knives with stainless steel blades and palmadera (a kind of compressed resin infused wood, giving better water resistance) handles. Hand produced in Catalonia at the workshops of Cuchillería Pallarès the one surviving knife and tool maker in a town once dotted with small manufacturers. Founded in 1917 by brothers Lluís and Carles Pallarès Canal they are now a third generation family company with a workforce of 15 whose owners and management still split their time between administrative necessity and manual craft production. About 21.5cm overall length, with a blade of 10.5cm.
