Tooth box, ‘Milch Zahne’

A small (about 45mm diameter) turned beech screw-top box for the safe keeping of milk teeth (Milch Zähne), be that by parents for prosteritory or fairies prior to their carving and manufacture of minuscule piano keys. From the workshops of the Redecker company, who since their founding by Friedrich Redecker in the 1930s have specialised in the production of unusual and high quality brushes, made using traditional techniques and largely natural materials.
