Hand-made French Bird call, Blackbird

Hand-made in France from beech and metal, this blackbird call can, with practice and attentive listening, be used to imitate the trills and modulations of their song. Play by sucking and blowing air through the call. Imbued perhaps with the spirit of Doolittle, M. François Morel, who spent an idyllic childhood amongst the hills of the Rhône-Alpes region, hand crafts these instruments so that he and others might communicate with birds, creating 'toys' to inspire a greater love of nature.
