Hand-made French Bird call, Cuckoo

Hand-made in France from boxwood, this cuckoo call is fairly easy to play, the skill being primarily one of rhythm and timing. Play by sucking and blowing air through the call. Imbued perhaps with the spirit of Doolittle, M. François Morel, who spent an idyllic childhood amongst the hills of the Rhône-Alpes region, hand crafts these instruments so that he and others might communicate with birds, creating 'toys' to inspire a greater love of nature.
