Niwaki Rattan Garden & Household Snips

A pair of fine garden snips, hand wrapped with Wisteria rattan, with a core and 50mm blades crafted from S58C Carbon Steel. Lovely snips for flowers and around the home, with a soft spring and an easy leather catch, which also work very well as a pair of desk scissors. Made in Sanjo, Japan, an area well-known for its metalwork. Measuring 190 x 42 x 15mm, these should only be used to make cuts up to a diameter of 5mm, and care should be taken with harder stems. After use, dry and wipe over with Camellia oil and store in a dry place, as these will rust if left damp.
