Japanese bamboo hand broom

An incredibly simple hand broom from Japan made from the finer tops of bamboo canes bound tightly together with wire. Similarly to our zatacon scrubbing whisks, and perhaps besom brooms to which these bear resemblance and could perhaps be considered cousins these are less brittle, harder wearing, and at the same time more flexible than they might appear. Ideal as a small leaf broom for sweeping more confined spaces, or else for quickly tidying decking or patio areas. Just over 50cm overall length.
