A hand-forged pruning axe with a Blue Paper steel — renowned for the longevity and finesse it grants an edge — blade laminated between layers of tough, shock absorbing malleable iron giving an ideal blend of sharpness and durability. The handle is shaped from Japanese white oak, and the axe is supplied with a magnolia wood sheath allowing it to be securely and safely worn to a belt. Well balanced, and with an acutely angled blade it is ideal for the precise trimming of green woody stems. The blade measures approximately 15cm, the axe overall about 34cm.
