A medium stiff scrubbing whisk, or small hand broom made of black arenga fibre harvested without felling from the trunks of sugar palms. Slightly softer than the other small whisk brushes these make excellent general washing up and vegetable scrubbers, as well as small stiff brooms for brushing dried mud from shoes, clothes, or fabrics. Hand bound with a single winding of hemp twine by the visually impaired craftspeople of a Finnish cooperative.

Care Advice

Keep dry when not in use. In the case of wet-use brushes, please shake any excess moisture from the bristles, and dry hanging up or on a surface with the bristles facing down. Clean brushes only when necessary with a little dish soap and hot water, making sure to dry thoroughly. Condition the wooden surface every now and then with a beeswax furniture polish, or mineral oil, to prevent cracks or splitting.
