Estonian Pine-Strip Trug or Basket

A basket to pick the first wild herbs of spring, the rich floral splendour of summer and the autumn harvests of fruit and mushrooms. Or maybe just for convenient storage in the hall and kitchen. Traditionally woven in thin pine strips, made by hand in Estonia. Use around the house for the storage of textiles, vegetables, or crafting equipment, or outdoors for a lightweight and capacious harvesting trug. Basket is approximately 56cm long, 29cm wide, and 15cm deep, with an overall height including handles of very roughly 35cm.
