Okatsune secateurs no.103

Standard size, strong secateurs from Okatsune of Japan made with blades of Hitachi Yasugi high carbon steel and a simple single pivot design. The steel is hardened to 60 to 61 on the Rockwell scale for a long lasting edge and the handles covered in red and white grips, both for comfort and because the red is highly visible in daylight, whilst the white can be seen more easily at night. These have a more direct action than western secateurs, resulting in a very clean, efficient cut.
