Cobweb broom, Natural Bristle, English
£23.50
Ex Tax: £19.58

A pure natural bristle cobweb brush hand set in an oiled hardwood stock, with a long handle, finished with a turned-wood topper. Perfect for removing even high-up cobwebs, with a flared head for reaching more awkward corners, and a lightweight feel (just 200g in weight), for effortless de-cobwebbing. From the company of R. Russell a family owned and run business who have been manufacturing brushes in the town of Chesham, Buckinghamshire for at least six generations, since their founding in the annex of a local tavern sometime in the early 1840s. About 115cm total length with bristles of 7.5cm.

Please note that this item will incur a long item shipping surcharge which will be added at the shipping stage of checkout.

Care Advice

Keep dry when not in use. In the case of wet-use brushes, please shake any excess moisture from the bristles, and dry hanging up or on a surface with the bristles facing down. Clean brushes only when necessary with a little shampoo and hot water, making sure to dry thoroughly. Condition the wooden surface every now and then with a beeswax furniture polish, or mineral oil, to prevent cracks or splitting. Note that clothes moths will go for animal fibre brushes in the same way that they will for animal fibre clothes. Keep brushes in a dust free environment, and treat surfaces with cedar oil to repel them.
