Mineral B Triblini with wooden handle

Mineral B Triblini with wooden handle
£62.50
Ex Tax: £52.08
A blue carbon steel, traditional style French triblini pan, suited to any power or type of heat (including induction). With a wooden handle, for easier handling during longer blini-making sessions. Perfect when you need a large batch of blinis or drop scones, or for making neat little fried eggs. Properly seasoned and prepared, this pan will out-perform any non-stick or stainless pan, and will last more than a lifetime. Once seasoned the steel of the pan bonds to polymerised oil, forming a deep brown to black surface which acts as a natural non-stick coating — one that does not peel if over heated (arguably it improves), self repairs if scratched (say by metal tools), will not release novel chemicals into your food, or for that matter poison birds. Made in Val-d'Ajol, France by de Buyer, who have been making similar pans in that region since 1830.

Care Advice

Hand wash with a stiff vegetable fibre brush, using either no soap or a very gentle soap such as Marseille White Soap. Avoid soaking. Dry immediately after washing, and either return to the hob to ensure the pan is fully dry, or dry well. Season with oil before first use, and re-season when necessary. Store in a dry environment to prevent the formation of rust. Should rust occur, use an abrasive or rust-remover to remove, and re-season.
