Indoor Broom, Oiled Beech & Split Horsehair

A handsome broom ideal for all types of hard indoor flooring, with an oiled beech wood stock, fitted with split horsehair bristles. Split horsehair results in an especially soft and dense brush, ideal for moving fine dust, making this a very thorough sweeping tool. Measures 30 cm across the head. From a family owned and run brush making workshop in the town of Versmold, in North Rhine-Westphalia, a company who have specialised in the hand manufacture of fine brushes from largely natural materials since the 1930s. To use to best advantage, do not push the broom with force, but pull it to conserve the hair. On occasion you can wash and comb the horsehair, to maintain the quality of sweeping and to remove dirt. Best stored hanging up, or stood upright on its end, to protect the bristles. Supplied with a 140cm wooden handle with metal screw fitting.
