Soap and brush stand, cast concrete

An oval-shaped, hand-cast fine 'soft' concrete soap tray with ridges, for storing soap and brushes by the kitchen, bathroom or utility sink. The deep grooves in the tray's surface allow for water to drain away from soap and bristles, allowing them to dry fully and stay in tiptop condition. Made in the workshops of Iris Hantverk, where visually impaired craftsmen find gainful employment in the production of hand sewn brushes and unique considered home-ware. Measures approximately 24cm by 12cm by 2cm high, and weighs around 700g.
