Simon Horton Incense Box, Stoneware, Blue

A small box, hand thrown in stoneware, with a footed base to reduce heat transfer, and a lid with a hole to allow the scent to waft through into the room. Hand thrown by Simon Horton and reduction fired in South Oxfordshire in a small gas kiln of his own making. In a homemade glaze in a glossy blue-grey with speckles of dark brown, characteristic of reduction firing. Perfect for use with our Incense Cones and Papier d'Armenie incense papers. Height of 4.5 – 5.5cm, and a diameter of 5 – 6cm.
