Japanese Carbon Steel Weeding Hoe

A cranked handled, one-handed weeding hoe, made in Japan. Forged from carbon steel the blade of this hoe has an excellent edge — ideal for slicing through weed roots amidst borders and vegetable beds. Chop into the soil and pull towards you, to weed and cultivate simultaneously. About 33cm overall in length, with a blade of 13cm. A comfortable, turned wood handle allows for extended work. To care for the carbon steel, wipe clean after use and store dry, and oil blade and handle regularly.
