A wooden handled Chef's knife from French maker Opinel, who have been making knives in the Savoie region of France since 1890. Lightweight, with a blade height of 4.5cm; perfect for speedy chopping and thin slicing, and a curved edge to enable easy dicing of herbs and aromatics by way of a rocking motion. The stainless steel blade, 3mm thick, with a length of 20cm, is extremely resilient to rust. It is fitted with a comfortable beech wood handle, which has been covered in a protective varnish to make it moisture-resistant.
