Swedish Hand Cast Concrete Soap Dish, Rectangular

A hand-cast fine concrete soap dish with flat facets sloping towards a central drainage hole. The concrete is cast using a relatively viscous mix, resulting in a surface finish characterised by a varying smoothness with colour variations — this natural material will acquire a beautiful patina with time and use. Made in the Swedish workshops of Iris Hantverk, where visually impaired craftsmen find gainful employment in the production of hand sewn brushes and unique considered home-ware. Measures approximately 11.5cm by 9.5cm by 3cm high.
