Forged carbon steel shears with strong straight blades. Bright red lacquered metal handles allow for better visibility if dropped and aids protection from corrosion, as well as a textured surface for improved grip. The carbon steel blades can rust if left in wet, saline, or damp conditions — regular use and a periodic light re-coating with oil should help prevent this and keep your secateurs in tip-top condition. Used for general garden pruning, as well as flowers, fruits and small branches. Measure about 25cm total length, with blades of around 7.5cm.
