A Japanese Yukihira Pan — a lightweight and durable one-handed pot made from stainless steel, with easy-to-read measurements on the inside, up to 1600ml. As an indispensable item of cookware in traditional Japanese cooking, this pot is used for making staple dishes such as miso soup, hot stew dishes, and dashi (Japanese broth). Not for use on a very high heat (use on a low setting on induction hobs), and also not recommended for stir-frying. Lids are sold separately, and fit both 18 and 20cm pans, so if you buy both pan sizes you only need one lid. Suitable for gas, induction and electric hobs.
