Japanese Porcelain Mug, Brown

A porcelain mug, with a lively dark brown glaze, designed by Ogino Katsuhiko and made in Seto City by Ceramic Japan who have been making fine ceramics since 1973. Seen from above, the mouth of the mug is the embodiment in design of the act of serving a drink to a friend, with a gently rounded triangular shape. This Brown mug uses a glaze that changes colour during firing, with the result ranging from yellow to reddish brown, resulting in a unique appearance with each piece.
