Midori Fine Paper Notebook, A5, Grid

Made in Japan of Midori Diary paper, a paper developed from the founding of the Midori company in 1950 and used extensively in-house as the medium of their own writing and record keeping. Exceptionally fine, the paper is produced at a mill that undertakes every aspect of its manufacture from pulping, to drying, and final rolling, a process that has hardly need change in over 50 years. Supplied ‘unfinished’ clad only in a glassine jacket, these can be completed with the addition of a cover, or left as they are — books in their rawest form. Grid paper, A5 (148mm x 210mm).
