A pair of smaller carbon steel garden scissors in the traditional Koryu flower arranging style, with characteristically short and stubby blades, great for cutting flowers, dead-heading and light pruning, as well as snipping twine whilst in the garden. Sharp, precise blades make for satisfying, clean cuts on softer green stems, whilst the blades are strong enough to cut through woodier stems and roots up to 8mm thick. The traditional round handles are easy to grab, comfortable to hold, and allow for the perfect sensitivity of delicate and accurate cuts, and are good to use with gardening gloves on. Measuring 165mm, with 40mm blades, these are made in Japan from Aogami Blue Carbon Steel, which will need to be kept dry, wiped after use and oiled regularly. After use, clean off any dirt, wipe oil onto the blades for protection and store dry. Avoid cutting into wire or other metals. Cutting diagonally can prolong the longevity of the blades.
