A large, 12” by 3" waxed beech stock with 15 x 4 rows of stiff long 4” natural bassine fill, heavy duty shippon or yard broom. Perfect for scrubbing moss, dirt, and leaves from yards, flags, and cobbles, or sweeping hay from a shippon or stable. Made with renewable and biodegradable palmyra fibre, the name "bass broom" or "bassine" comes from the french word basin. Hand made in England.

Please note that this item will incur a long item shipping surcharge which will be added at the shipping stage of checkout.

Care Advice

Keep dry when not in use. In the case of wet-use brushes, please shake any excess moisture from the bristles, and dry hanging up or on a surface with the bristles facing down. Clean brushes only when necessary with a little dish soap and hot water, making sure to dry thoroughly. Condition the wooden surface every now and then with a beeswax furniture polish, or mineral oil, to prevent cracks or splitting.
