Romanian Enamel Freestanding Colander with Scarlet Rim

A rustic enamel free-standing colander, prettily perforated with a pattern of circles decorating its hemispherical drainer. With three metal feet to keep the drainer clear of the sink, and two comfortable handles which can double up as pan rests. For the draining and washing of vegetables and fruit. Made in Romania, this enamelled steel colander has a cream coloured base, with a hand-painted scarlet rim. Measuring 22cm across the bowl, so there is plenty of space for a pan-full of potatoes! Please note that due to the hand-painted nature of this enamelware variations and small imperfections may be present in the enamel coating. Dishwasher safe, although the enamel may dull slightly.
