Romanian Enamel Briki or Ibrik, 0.5l, Bordeaux

An elegantly formed enamel coffee boiler, of the Greek 'Briki' / Turkish 'Ibrik' type, for making Greek or Turkish style coffee. To make this kind of coffee, fill the Briki with a mixture of finely ground coffee beans, sugar, and water, before heating over a stovetop or heat source. This coffee is known for its strong, rich flavour and is often served with a sweet treat. These little pans are also great for warming a portion of milk. Made in Romania, this enamelled steel pan measures around 10cm diameter at the base, 10cm high with a 12cm handle and capacity of 0.5l. Please note that due to the hand-painted nature of this enamelware variations and small imperfections may be present in the enamel coating. Dishwasher safe, although the enamel may dull slightly.
