A wood-handled bread knife with stainless steel rivets, made in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. This light, sharp bread knife will cut through soft bread without tearing or crumbling the insides, and can also deal with the crustiest of sourdough loaves with ease. The stainless steel 24.5cm blade curves upward towards the tip, and rises up towards an elevated handle, affording an easier slicing action. The serrated edge is designed to cut on both the 'push' and 'pull' movements, enabling effortless and accurate slicing, while the 5cm or so at tip is reduced to a very thin, flexible weight, great when starting slicing a delicate loaf. This knife is also great for slicing difficult to cut items such as tomatoes and seaweed rolls. Handwash and dry immediately. Not dishwasher friendly.
