A handsome 7cm black walnut penknife with rounded tip and natural leather chord. Walnut lends this knife a vintage feel, and the rounded tip means that it is safe to carry and to use. The Opinel Neo6 knife comes from the French brand's Opiflex series, with a design that allows for a firm hold when unfolded without the presence of a twisting lock. Opinel have been producing their iconic pocket knives in the Savoie region of France since 1890. The knife's length and design means that it is legal to carry in the UK.

Care Advice

Hand wash and dry well with a soft cloth immediately after use. Ensure the knife is never left sitting in wet conditions. High quality stainless steel knives will often include a high-carbon element, to increase performance. These kind of stainless steels are not 100% rust proof, and will require careful handling. A sharp knife is a safe knife — use a honing rod to keep a fine edge, and sharpen with a stone when necessary.
