A walnut and stainless steel half moon knife, with a fine edged laser cut 301 stainless steel steel blade, secured into its wooden handle with brass rivets. This knife is used for efficiently mincing or chopping herbs, garlic, nuts, and small vegetables directly in mixing or salad bowls, without scattering the ingredients. Used one handed, the comfortably shaped handle enables easy control over the finished texture — use in a rocking motion for complete control over the finished texture. Made by Lamson, America’s oldest surviving cutlery company, operating out of Massachusetts since 1837. Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately. Hone blade edges regularly with a honing steel or whetstone, and oil the handle occasionally to keep it from drying out. Measures 6 inches in length, 5 inches in height.
