Japanese Ceramic Oval Baking Dish

An oval ceramic baking dish with side handles and a rich olive glaze. Ideal for baking one or two portions of gratins, pies or other baked dishes. Made in Aichi Prefecture in Japan by Marumitsu Poterie, established in 1950, who create table and kitchenwares using a diverse range of natural materials (porcelain, stoneware, earthenware and open-fire resistant earthenware).  Measures 24cm length, 19cm width, 5cm height.  Microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. Not for use on an open flame.
