Spanish Terracotta Tapas Dish, Large

A brick-red glazed terracotta tapas dish, perfect for serving up a slow cooked casserole or a baked dessert, and will keep foods like these hot throughout dinner. Hand-made by Ceràmiques Graupera in the Montseny Valleys in Spain, a maker who specialises in high quality, 100% natural products which are easily identifiable due to their vibrant clay. This dish is suitable for direct heat and can be used in ovens, on gas and electric hobs, AGAs and barbecues, and is also dishwasher safe. Heat slowly and avoid rapid changes in temperature to prevent cracking. Please note that this is a rustic item, and imperfections in the glaze are common / to be expected, due to the hand-applied nature of the glaze. Measures approximately 25cm in diameter and 6cm deep.
